The New Saints of Oswestry Town play in the JD Cymru Premier, the national football league of Wales. The New Saints have won a record thirteen titles, including eight seasons in a row between 2012 and 2019. TNS played their first game at Park Hall in 2007, a stadium that was totally unrecognisable from the ground the Oswestry team had used prior to the merger between Llansantffraid, Powys, and Oswestry Town football clubs. Redeveloped at a cost of more than £3 million, Park Hall has a state-of-the-art 3G pitch and a major sports and leisure development that is an asset to the whole Oswestry community.

Looking to broaden the gym’s appeal to the younger players and members of the community, TNS commissioned us at CYC to design a new, state-of-the-art training space with exciting strength and conditioning equipment for functional training. Within this, we were also to incorporate an area for warming up and stretching.

We are proud to have installed a vibrant green 10m x 2m essential turf track, including intelligent shock pad system – a fabulous choice for integrating explosive sprint workouts and defining zones within the gym. For weight training, 4 x Younix Pro Power Racks were selected, along with free weights and accessories, 30mm performance flooring and integrated custom oak lifting platforms to feature the TNS shield. Quality Life Fitness and Concept2 equipment guarantees optimal cardio and strength exercise, and innovative free weights and accessories from aerobis, Escape Fitness and Younix will keep training fresh and motivational.
