The Battle Rope Strength Trainer by the Abs Company, or Battle Rope ST™ for short, is a unique functional training system that has accreditation from both the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America). It combines heavy rope training and suspended body weight training into one engaging and highly effective workout. Battle Rope ST™promotes weight loss and strength gains through High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) in a circuit style workout. By combining cardiovascular training with strength training in high intensity intervals, lean muscle can be built and overall cardiovascular conditioning increased. The Battle Rope ST™ system allows for easy progressions from battle rope training to suspended body weight training. Its dual function upper mount easily attaches to your impact cage and the TireFlip 180 and 180XL for a new dimension in small group training. The added 6 lbs weight in each handle is a unique feature that allows for shorter overall working length, about half the length of a traditional battle rope, and only 10 feet from the anchor point, enabling more people to train in less space. Movements can be performed in a tighter and more compact fashion. When anchored in two spots, with a loop anchor at a low position and hook brackets up high, the Battle Rope ST® performs as a suspension trainer by allowing each handle and rope end to independently extend 5 feet from the high anchor position. Using the Battle Rope ST® in this way enables strength training for the upper body, core, and lower body.
